he MADE us for a purpose

Psalm 8:6-8 says:

You made humans rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet:
all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild,
the birds in the sky,and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.

The more we learn about the world, the more amazing it becomes.

The Darwin’s Bark Spider produces silk ten times stronger than Kevlar. Which is what you make bullet-proof armour from.

The wood frog can live in the Arctic Circle. It freezes in winter and then, when it thaws out, lives normally during the summer.

Polar bears are black! They have black skin and transparent fur, which reflects the colour around it – usually white snow.

But Psalm 8 says that God made humans to rule over the animals, the birds and the fish.

God made us for a purpose here on earth: to look after the rest of God’s creation.

That’s a huge responsibility!

What responsibility does humanity have for the rest of the world? What influence do you personally have? What can you do to fulfil the purpose God made you for? Ask God to help you with it.
