Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Christians are not perfect people. We are sinful, messy, broken, wilful people. Like everyone else.
The difference is that Christians are forgiven people.
God doesn’t give us instructions to choose a particular career, go to a certain university, marry a specific person. But he gives us lots of instructions about how to treat other people, how to deal with injustice, how to bear witness to his love.
What you do with your life isn’t as important as the way you do it.
