Wednesday: destruction, devastion and utter devotion

Jesus and the disciples went out of Jerusalem, away from the priests, the Pharisees and the crowds. Peter asked him what was going to happen next, so Jesus warns them what to expect:

But after the wars, the destruction, the conflicts and disasters:

Later that evening, a woman came to Jesus:
She brought a bottle of perfume worth more than a year’s wages, broke it and used it to anoint him.

Jesus knows what’s coming:

“She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare me for burial.”

And even while he was being anointed, the chief priests were scheming to have Jesus arrested and killed. And then Judas Iscariot goes to talk to them…
